Moving Steam Folder Omnisphere; Apr 02, 2013 Steam Folder Missing (not in application support) Hello, I would like to mod Crusader Kings 2 but the steam folder is missing, I can see the library and application support folders but there is no steam folder. Hi, I have run into a problem installing dota2 on my mac. I have lion 10.7.5. It installs the program in C://Trillian and it wants to install the STEAM folder there too. I want to put it on my third sample drive I recently got, and I do but then when I fire it up, it says it cannot find the STEAM folder. Is there a way to 'tell' trillian or omnishpere where the STEAM folders are? After the omnisphere is installed, I can´t find the Spectrasonics folder (default install to C:Program FilesSpectrasonics) anywhere. I can´t find it in the Program Data either. The only thing which is installed is the Omnisphere.dll file in VstPlugins folder. Do you know, where is the problem? Note: In Mac OS X 10.7 – 10.14, the Library folder in each User folder is hidden. Select the Go menu at the top of your screen while in Finder mode, then hold the ‘option’ key on your keyboard, then select Library. If you are unable to locate your User Library in OS X 10.12, select the Go menu at the top of your screen while using the Finder, then select Go to Folder; enter ~/Library – then select Go.

Note: The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder by default on Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista, so you'll need to 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' in your Control Panel / Folder Options.

3.) Navigate to the STEAM folder using the steps above, and make sure that your Omnisphere folder is the proper size.

4.) If you are using any disk management software such as CCleaner, Revo, Norton, MacKeeper, etc., make sure that your STEAM folder is exempted by those 'cleaning' utilities so that they don't inadvertently remove necessary files from STEAM.

The data files for Stylus RMX are stored in your SAGE folder. When you update your patches or soundsources, you are updating files in your SAGE folder, which was created when you originally installed Stylus RMX. Your SAGE folder is located inside your Spectrasonics folder. See the instructions below to find your Spectrasonics folder. Inside your Spectrasonics folder you'll find SAGE, which may be the SAGE folder, or it may be an alias (Mac) or Shortcut (Window) to the SAGE folder.

On Mac, the Spectrasonics folder is located here:

Macintosh HD/Users/<Your Username>/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics

From Mac OS X 10.7 and higher, Apple have made the User - Library folder a hidden folder by default. This is to stop general Mac users fiddling with settings, however, music makers will require using this folder from time to time.

ProgramData is normally a hidden file. To 'Show Hidden Files' go to Start Menu/Control Pane/Appearance And Personalization/Folder Options/View tab. Select the 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' option and hit 'Apply'
